Our New Pres

This poll misses the one thing I consider most important: instituting a fair tax. Never, ever have I believed B.O. would "solve" our economic situation. Spending or no spending won't ever apply to this president. He will spend and continue to spend big. Additionally, and mark my words, B.O. will always raise taxes in any way possible; the best way for him to raise taxes is by making sure that none of Bush's tax cuts get "re-upped" shortly, and when they are gone, we will all be paying through the nose to the Federal Gvt. Our pres. has the power to do anything he wants without ever seeming to raise a tax; Obama does not have the support of his party to do this. I wish our pres. would rise to this (rare)occasion and make things better for this wonderful Republic of ours; it is easily within his grasp -- but don't hold your breath.

Bush is not my hero, either. We need better choices for leaders.

More B.O.

You are so right sandyspringer, and it makes me want to giggle when I hear that the high-incomers that voted for B.O. are now so confused and distraught that he is considering raising their taxes, what?
I guess that if I were not so concerned with our fellow American's obvious lack of knowledge of world and American history that would allow us to be governed by such a socialist flake, then maybe I could giggle.
